Gotta Start Somewhere

Often talked about but never done.  Applies to so much in life.  In my case, I just split with my husband after 20 years.  My friends and I have also talked about creating a blog about what life is like for a 40-something married woman.  This is the first step of many.  I like to wear heels and drink cocktails so I imagine the walking of this road might be... shall we say not as smooth as I like to think I am!  I admit that I tend to cuss a lot, I'm not very sentimental or romantic, I'm pretty matter-of-fact, don't have a mouth filter and listen to really loud heavy metal.  Oh, and it turns out I have a weakness for bad-boys with hearts of gold.  But that's for another day.
